Maple Gel Con in 2022

Happy Monday and Happy New Year, everyone!

We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful and safe holiday with your loved ones. With it being the start of a new year, we’re sure some of you are wondering about a potential physical Maple Gel Con in 2022. And unfortunately, we can’t say for sure whether or not a return to a physical Maple Gel Con will return this year.

Cases are on the rise in Ontario, and the government has just rolled out new capacity restrictions. If cases continue to increase, it’s likely that more restrictions will be put in place. And that would not only make it challenging to host Maple Gel Con, but it would also be unsafe.

The well-being and safety of our attendees and the Guild is something that staff takes incredibly seriously. And as much as we’d like to open ticket sales for 2022 and see you all again, we’re forced to take a slow and steady approach. But that’s not to say that we don’t have lots planned in 2022. We’ve got a few different things in the works this year and we can’t wait to share them with you.

We miss you all like crazy, and we can’t wait to see you when it’s safe to do so. Until then, we want to remind you that you can join our Discord and community Facebook Group to keep the fun going all year.

Have a great week and stay safe!
